Elizabeth Macarthur never lived at Camden Park House, although she was a regular visitor and often stayed for long periods.  Her husband John Macarthur was instrumental in the creation of the house but it was their two youngest sons, William and James, who lived and worked at Camden Park House and who established it as the proto-type Australian agricultural empire.

Macarthur descendants still live in Camden Park House to this day.
